Priest died as a POW in World War II

The Rev. Henry Stober was a priest in Covington, then went to drier climates in Arizona and California before World War II. He volunteered as an Army chaplain, was sent to the Philippines, and was captured by the Japanese. He died as a prisoner of war.

The top 10 requested recipes were banana bread followed by lasagna, easy sugar cookies, pancakes, slow-cooker pot roast, rolled sugar cookies, crepes, carrot cake, zucchini bread and chicken pot pie.
