Soul game on TCN after being dropped by NFL Networkpublished Fri, Jun 08 2012 19:00 GMT
In what is another black eye for the Arena Football League, Friday night's Soul game will not be televised on the NFL Network because of labor uncertainty surrounding the league, and instead will air on The Comcast Network. The first-place Soul plays at Milwaukee at 8 p.m. The NFL Network had flexed its schedule to show the Soul-Milwaukee contest, because of rumors of a player boycott in its originally scheduled game, Pittsburgh at Cleveland, a league source said. The Cleveland Gladiators did go on strike before their game, citing working conditions and the lack of collective bargaining. AFL Players Union executive director Ivan Soto told the Associated Press the work stoppage would last until midnight.
