Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun returned to the lineup for Friday's series opener against the Pirates after missing Thursday's contest with tightness in his right Achilles. He did not play the whole game, however, as he was forced out in the eighth inning due to a right hip strain. Braun went 1 for 3 before being replaced by Norichika Aoki. "I think the danger in trying to play through an injury constantly is it's easy to reinjure it," Braun told MLB.com. "Your body also compensates, so it's easy to hurt something else. I don't think it's too bad, but it doesn't feel good right now."
