From her fiery preacher uncle, to the formidable Aunt Ada Doom, Flora keeps her cool as she systematically addresses each of their problems, leading to one of the most nicely tied up endings I've read in a while.Gibbons, writing in 1932, sets the action in an imagined near future, so watch out for TV phones and air taxis.
