'The Wreck of the Zanzibar is a great story for people who like an emotional book that makes you think'This book is about a boy called Michael who's Grandma has died, and left him her childhood diary. In the diary her life on the Scilly Isles is bleak and boring. But her heart is broken when her twin brother, Billy, sails of to America. As if that wasn't enough, a devastating storm blows of roofs, kills the only working cows, and washes up turtles. It saddens the whole island, as not one house has survived intact.
